Clara is transforming lives in the New Orleans education sector and beyond!

She holds a passion for equity and a deep commitment to student success, bringing both heart and expertise to everything she does. With degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the Boston University School of Medicine, she blends psychology, mental health, and academic strategy into a holistic approach to student support.


As a licensed professional counselor with roots in community-based mental health care, Clara understands that student success isn’t just about academics — it’s about the whole person.


While serving as Site Director at College Track New Orleans, Clara:

  • Boosted college graduation rates

  • Increased student attendance

  • Elevated staff satisfaction
  • Designed impactful programs with lasting results


She’s especially passionate about supporting first-generation, low-income students, helping them access college and thrive once they get there. Her work is grounded in the belief that every student’s potential deserves to be realized, regardless of their background.
