Lisa D. Alexis

As the President & CEO of the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund (NOTCF), Lisa is a passionate advocate for culture, creativity, and community. A proud native of New Orleans and lifelong champion for the arts, Lisa has dedicated her career to uplifting the city's vibrant cultural economy — from supporting artists during the pandemic to launching initiatives like Embrace the Culture.

Lisa's career spans communications, marketing, and government administration. As the former Director of the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy, Lisa has led with vision, heart, and resilience through Carnival seasons, global shutdowns, and beyond. Lisa's unwavering commitment to sustainable tourism and cultural equity remains at the heart of her work.                                                                     

She serves on the Boards of the Airport’s Parking Facilities Corporation and Steward Co-Pro-Tem at Union Bethel AME church, where she also sings in the choir. She most recently served as Co-Chair of the Super Bowl LIX Special Events and Hospitality Host Committee with Barry Kern. 

Lisa worked in the morning news production for WWL-TV and advertising and brand strategy for major corporations like Coca-Cola and Miller Beer. She later transitioned into public service, holding leadership roles in affordable housing, workforce development, and financial management in the City of New Orleans and with the City of Houston.
